Tori Amos - A Sorta Fairytale


오랜만에 음악 포스트를 하는것 같네요.
소개하는 앨범은 Tori Amos라는 가수의 박스셋인 A Piano: the Collection 입니다.
사진에 보시는 것과 같이 피아노 건반모양의 박스에 booklet 과 5장의 CD가 들어있습니다.
대부분의 Tori Amos의 앨범에 수록되어있던 곡들, 데모 곡들이 들어있기 때문에 이 박스셋 하나면
Tori Amos에 대해 잘 알 수 있게 되지 않을까 싶네요. 

사실, 저도 오늘 선물로 받은것이라 다 들어보진 못했습니다만, 이번 겨울에 자주 꺼내 듣게될것 같네요. 

참 Tori Amos에 대해서 간단하게 소개하자면, 가수로 데뷔하기 전에는 뉴욕의 피아노 바에서 공연했었답니다.
데뷔해서 정식 앨범을 발매한 후에는,  한 곡도 북미 싱글챠트 40위에 들어간 적이 없었지만, 특이하게도 그녀의 앨범들은 대부분이 앨범 챠트에서 10위 안에 들어갔지요.

지금 들리는 노래 제목은 A Sorta Fairytale 인데, "하나의 옛이야기와 같은..." 이라고 하면 조금 느낌이 비슷할까요?
제가 워낙 이렇게 우울한 곡들을 좋아하는 편이라서  (물론 가끔 극과 극을 달릴때도 있지만...) 소개합니다.

나다.. 서울 잘 도착했다..
근데.. 뉴욕에서 Blue Note 갔었는데..Chris Botti공연보고.. 싸인씨디 받고.. 사진도 찍었다..
내가 씨디 산지 얼마만인지 모르지만.. (거금 20.54불 줬다..) ITALIA..
Blue Note 공연은 정말 죽였다.. 트럼펫.... 나두 배우고파..
26일부터 Chick Core 공연이던데...

Chris Botti... 내 취향은 아니지만, 너랑 잘 어울리는 분위기지... (재벌2세???)
어떻든 좋은 공연 봤다니 다행이다.
Chick Corea는 Chris Botti 생각하고 가면 완전 실패한다. 가려면 미리 노래 많이 듣고 가라.
